Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

The aim of our journal is to deliver basic and advanced knowledge in the field of nutrition and exercise from expertise, that includes universities, hospitals, clinics, public health authorities, as well as  students' research project work basically from all Arabic countries; not to exclude the international ones. Contents will include original research papers, reviews, case studies, invited articles and abstracts

Articles will be published on a quarterly basis (3 times per year; April, August and December). AJNE it’s an official publication of Zayed University Press, Abu Dhabi, UAE.



The IJNE focuses on the following but not limited area:

                  Nutritional Epidemiology

Exercise: Sports Nutrition

                 Supplementation on body composition and physical performance

                 Physical activity and fitness related to nutrition

                 Physical education related to nutrition

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
